Nonetheless, by the end of the night, there's a bit of that regimented, heartless feeling in the air, where the music is technically brilliant and the sound is excellent, but now seems to lack in purpose somehow. I wonder when a band will transcend this point, to create a music that remains open and interested even on a large stage like this. I listen to this recording, and I feel as though there is something essential that is missing. The show is a great show, and the Biscuits play fantastically. The recording sounds good, and the band does some interesting things with the set list. Where is the heart?
